Kevin Chilcutt lives in the DeFuniak Springs area and pastors at Victory Lighthouse Assembly of God. Rangers is part of his family’s ministry with his wife Barbara and four boys (Ryan, Travis, Alexander and Hunter) and someone on the way (as of August, check back to see what happens). Barbara and the Boys are all active in Rangers with the older ones in FCF and Commander Barbara serving as District Ranger Kids Coordinator.
Kevin has only been with Rangers about 10 years, having worked as a children’s and youth pastor, but avoiding the Ranger ministry until asked to restart it as Outpost 89 in DeFuniak Springs. As the new church plant, Victory Lighthouse outpost 114 was also chartered. The church actually had a Ranger ministry before it was an official AG church.
Kevin serves as the West Florida District Special Events Coordinator. This assignment helps coordinate events including awards banquets, special district trips to national events, Powwow, Ranger Kids Field Day, Expo and any other special event. The position does not necessarily run each event, rather works with the event coordinator or department person to make sure they have the tools required and helping with organization and marketing as needed. The position is also available to sections and churches for special events.
Kevin also is the Section 5 Comander, the editor of the Ranger 2 Ranger newsletter, assistant to the beautiful RK Commander, FCF Apalachee Chapter Historian and Cook. Kevin and Barbara also operate the Ranger Store and FCF Trading Post.
